Spanish bank helps leaves large hole in the Spanish Treasury

The Spanish central bank proves that only a fraction of the support to the ailing banking sector repaid.


The total aid to banks in Spain amounted to nearly 61.5 billion Euros. Of these funds have Spanish State only regained 2.66 billion Euros through the sale of some of the less intervened banks. This corresponds to 4.3 percent of the allocated funds, property Marbella.

Nerja municipality want a golf course in Maro


Nerja Municipality has signed a contract with Sociedad Azucarera Larios SL in order to reclassify the land areas located near the old sugar factory San Joaquín in Maro, better known under the name of Las Mercedes.


The goal is to land area will be approved to build an 18-hole golf course named Maro Golf; even properties will be built adjacent to the golf course. Information has gone out to residents and the public has the opportunity to submit any complaints within 20 days.
